How to prepare a natural coffee exfoliant
Yoram Yasur Agi: Coffee has many beneficial properties for beauty and health, so it is important to know how to prepare a natural coffee exfoliant, which can be used on the body and face equally. Yoram Yasur Agi explains that exfoliating is a healthy practice for the health of the skin, which allows to eliminate dead cells, cleansing the skin and improving its appearance.
This drink is an excellent natural exfoliant, since it contains anti-inflammatory agents and increases the production of collagen. It is a stimulant of the skin and is often used in anti-cellulite creams. Yoram Yasur Agi: There are many natural coffee exfoliants that we can use, all with different properties.
- Exfoliating coffee invigorating. As we said, coffee is a powerful stimulant, so to make an invigorating exfoliating face with it is quite simple: 1 tablespoon ground coffee and 1 tablespoon of olive oil (can be substituted for honey, yogurt or apple juice). Mix both ingredients to form a paste. When using it with olive oil, we should avoid the moisturizer later, since this exfoliant already has a moisturizing effect. We should always apply it with circular movements, and then rinse gently with cold water.
- Super powerful scrub. Yoram Yasur Agi: With this scrub we will eliminate even the slightest trace of dead skin, refine our skin thoroughly and achieve a fantastic look. It can be used on the body or on the face, and for it you need to mix: 3 tablespoons ground coffee, 1 spoonful of oil of preference (olive, coconut, almonds …) and 1 spoon of sugar. Mix the dry ingredients first, and then add the oil little by little. If we want we can make a larger quantity, reserve it refrigerated and use it when we prefer. To the super powerful exfoliant we can add other ingredients to obtain different results. For example, add a spoonful of cocoa powder and a half of cinnamon, plus a little vanilla. But we can simply use the same recipe and add a little semolina.
- Super-fast scrub. We have a date, and we realize that we have neglected the skin a lot. We do not have anything at home to get a fast and beautiful result. But do not worry, grab the coffee from your espresso, and add: 1 tablespoon Celtic salt or salt from the Himalayas, 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Once you have mixed the paste well, apply it on the face with gentle massages-avoid irritated areas-and rinse. You can do it inside the shower, if you’re in a hurry.
