Let life flow.

“A positive technique for me” added Yoram.
I’m not saying everyone should change words, but if you can do it with confidence, you may nail it.

Do not release your kids from responsibilities.
One thing is help your kids with homework and another thing is to make the homework for them.
With the first, you are acting like a supportive parent, helping them on the things they find difficulties.
And is a great way of supporting them.
But, on the second one, you are releasing them from their responsibility and is not correct.
They must know and feel that school is their responsibility, not yours.
And is a great way of teaching them to be responsible on their life.
